Created from the personal experience John gained from his most recent venture, FIVE BOROUGHS - an Off Broadway Musical Comedy, his inspirational talk covers all aspects of grassroots theater. He talks about the benefits and hardships of directing your own work; he reveals how to get music written for free; and concludes the seminar with a unique and fun exercise that includes audience participation and interaction. Though originally intended to be exclusively for high school and college theater and writing classes, the seminar has been well received by various groups and organizations.
